「人間、歳取ってくると牛肉よりは豚肉、そして鶏肉、やがて魚の方がよくなってくる。
それも道理の事で、本来自分が戦って倒せる動物じゃないと食えない様に出来ているのだ。
若く力のある時には牛と戦い勝って、その肉を切り取って食う事も出来るだろうが、歳を取ってくるとそうもいかなくなる。
その時には牛よりも小さい豚、その豚にも敵わなくなったら鶏、その鶏も捕まえる事が出来なくなったら、海岸に落ちている昆布だの貝だのを食うのだ」
